NOTICE: Due to court closures, CLARO will be closed on Thursday 2/12

Brooklyn CLARO

Until further notice, there will be a limit on the number of individuals we can assist at Brooklyn CLARO.
Our team can meet with approximately 30 individuals during the 2 PM–4:30 PM session and 20 individuals during the 5 PM–7 PM session. As a result, you may be instructed to return on another day.
Please also note that we will post a sign-in sheet 15-30 minutes before the afternoon and evening session begins. If a line forms outside Room 1312 in the afternoon or Room 504 in the early evening, as is usually the case, please wait patiently outside the courtroom. Please do not create a sign-in sheet or inquire of the court staff, as there are active cases proceeding. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
We recommend you come to CLARO as soon as you become aware that there is a case against you, if possible before filing your Answer with the court. If you have already filed your Answer don’t worry, just come to CLARO as soon as you can – the earlier the better. And if you only realize there’s a case against you once a default judgment has been entered and your wages or bank account are being garnished, it’s not too late – CLARO can still help.
